Microsoft Web Platform Installer
Der Web Platform Installer ist eine Software mit welcher man nützliche Programme für Webserver und Microsoft Server downloaden und installieren kann, ohne manuell über den Browser software zu suchen und einzelne Installationsvorgänge zu starten.

Microsoft Web Platform Installer 5.0

Web Deploy integriert sich in den IIS Server und installiert zusätzliche Funktionen wir zum Beispiel das URL Rewrite 2.0
Und dann deploy installieren
Nach der Installation findet man den Web Deploy im IIS Internetinformationsdienste (IIS)-Manager
URL Rewrite
Wenn man im IIS auf Webplatform Installer klickt, dann findet man in der anschliessenden Auswahl unter „URL“:
URL Rewrite 2.0
Installieren:
Danach findet man auf jeder Website den Punkt: URL Rewrite.
Mit URL Rewrite kann man dann später die Webseite von http auf https umleiten und www. auf die Webseite ohne Subdomain
